'not GPS' but ' Divine Providence'
and that He keeps constant vigilance that is why
[Vigilance ] He leaves the fold for every one.

Red Murder
Red Murder The word ‘red ‘ got transformed to murder by the time it rose up the slope to the playground of the convent by the lunch carrier-women, cursing the bald headed females. Child slaughter and premeditated killing. The gentle and kind nuns were the exception, the revenge seeking sisters was w...

I like the earlier unedited version.I did not respond immediately ,not because I could not get the poem, but I wanted the words to seep in.This looks as if you are treating the reader as an imbecile.

'No Place To Sleep, No Place To Call Our Own'
'no place to sleep, no place to call our own'. Our dead ancestors, once lay buried on the banks of the Cauvery, stretched out, sandwiched between holy ash Bilva leaves and rock salt; we pushed in mud and powdered brick thrice into the pit our backs turned, not looking. Why wait a year to lay out the...

Now My Brothers Office Room
Mother’s room, now so empty. The soul left her body in this room, ten years ago. Across the compound from the RSS Hindu Dome a chorus counts ek,do, like they are doing night parade. Directly outside the window the pagoda of the Theen Murtis comes eye to eye with the flowers of pomegranate fruits and...

There are sister helpers all around You will have to let your soul take a ride Develop wings, fly. It will wander to the planets Recognize the five elements, Request them to quieten down Take...

Frank
Thanks for your feedback.I started on an emotional note then went into a mundane description of the house and if the poem had ended on an equally emotional tone it would have made sense.
Can you give any more suggestions in this area?

Climate
Kodaikanal The observatory draws tourists who come to see dark spots in the sun. Here they talk ‘climate.’ Space is a snapshot, a museum of telescopes and explanatory pictures. Each dark spot is bigger in size than the earth. Favorable changes might happen, more rains, unusual, unseasonal blooming o...
