He strained to see three shapes shimmer, weaving
among the dust devils. He watched in the
fierce light and heat of the day as they
grew into dark dancing shadows of men.

He called to his ohel, to his servants, to
kill a lamb and prepare with tender herbs
and roast on coals, baste in its own juices.
