On the surface only the petals floated.
Sunk in the boiling water were a couple of bangles
an inch of ginger, honey, and saffron.
I ask, `'What is this and get a nod,
Ambrosia, the dust of gold. Calls to mind
all those who tasted gold dust. The juice
of the flowers seeps in and floats like a thread painting.
The water is wine because of the honey.
The last straw is ,''it is meant for the likes of you
so that you may write good poetry.
I flee the place with the memory of the murder of hibiscus.

I like the details, and the unusual subject....well done
