terms it as the seventieth. She wants it that way.

She distributes gifts to her kith and kin.
Leaves a family wantonly. Meenie schemes.
She is tutored by the Machiavellian Sevag.

The family mind, not her indifference
attend the function.

She tells them she is glad to see them.
Her eyes let her down. She is shocked.

The other relatives come to know of Meeni's game.
Question her. She attributes it to her forgetfulness.
"Impossible!" they cry. She feigns repentance.

She calls the lady of that family after a month.
Speaks genially to her. The graceful lady converses with her
Expresses no anger.

Meenie tells her she would send the gift.
The lady, who kept her complacency so long,
bursts out.

"The gift is immaterial. It is the significance that counts.
It is the recognition that matters. I have forgotten the incident
Felt furious when I came to know of it. Later, reconciled.
Kindly do not talk about it anymore. It is an insult.

Let us see this way. Hereafter, it is four less for you,
I mean the gifts, as we are four in my family. Three less for me
as your family comprises of three members."

Meeni turns speechless.

"Little drops of water make a mighty ocean"
