Poets with 20/20 Vision

#1 Post by SivaRamanathan » 20 Feb 2017, 23:30

I ought not to feel disturbed
listening to the news
reading the daily papers
it is like watching Kollywood movies
I am not closely connected with these people--
long ago Bharathi envisaged all this
even in his poem New Russia he was writing of India.
I know something untoward is going to happen
who needs a soothsayer?

History is in the habit of repeating herself.

At one time I had thought Bharathi was a mad man
now, I have started reading Bharathi.
Will his poetry cure me?

I think so; my headache is receding...

Hi Siva,

re that title:

Poets have 20/20 Vision

Artists have 20/20 Vision

or w/out that "have"

Poets with 20/20 Vision

"History is in the habit of repeating herself."   - the bond of original sin - like a spider spinning - like a habitual liar - creatures of habit - creature/nature - but we are not nature - we are Creations of Our Father nurtured by the Light

and rulers miscasting themselves as lovers

"who needs a soothsayer?" - our lives are not fated - our lives are projected by the Light of Our Creator - Our Father

like Our Father like His children - we are created in the image of Our Creator - Our Father

Of course we are endowed with Vision because we are blessed with the Light
