To Crow or not to Crowe
He's moving on.
She left four years ago.
He's clearing up,
clearing out.
Russells up his junk.
Doing his Thoreau bit,
his Walden Pond at Concord.
Doesn't need all this stuff,
can't take it with him to the cabin.
At the auction:
a stuffed horse
dead of course.
Some electrical guitars,
without plugs.
A bronze metalled chariot
left hand drive.
His jock strap that sells
for 7 thousand Australian.
Other oddments:
a violin, a stuffed albatross,
a beetle, some ship's biscuits
complete with weevils.
Fair weather,
live happy ever after
Commander.

Re: To Crow or not to Crowe
Interesting list of objects... mostly junk, a reflection on the narrator... the “Thoreau bit...” biting and funny
Take out “dead of course”....
Clever close

Re: To Crow or not to Crowe
These are are all interesting objects but perhaps need to be more specific in some cases. For example those electrical guitars-
a gold top Les Paul,
Chet Adkins Gretch
and a Rickenbacker bass
like Paul played
for ‘Fool on the Hill.’
And I want to know why that jock strap is so expensive-
worn by Husain Bolt

Oh ya, I just saw this on the news the other day, and I always forget about reading titles.

A long list of objects. Need to be specific though.
Interesting read.

Re: To Crow or not to Crowe
Meena,
It's about Russell Crowe the famous actor who is selling
all his junk from his past and starting afresh after breaking up
four years ago. He raised millions of dollars Australian
and can now move on in his life unencumbered by the past.
It was taken from a BBC News report on the Internet last week.
The junk are props from some of his well known films, but
only film buffs would know that.

Frank,I seldom watch films.
Selling all his junk and starting afresh without thinking of thee past.
Nice way to begin.

Re: To Crow or not to Crowe
Russell Crowe in: 'Master and Commander' is just about the best modern film ever made
in the Historic/War/Sea genre. An insight into the working of the Navel mind
at war with France during Britain's total domination of the seven seas. I
highly recommend this film Meena, maybe it is available on the internet,
let's see:
