Much more sophisticated. The casual reader may not know until the first quote who the poem is about, but the writing is independent of subject. It's good poetics. It's paced very well and the imagery is superior.

I agree with Ken. Your hard work has paid off. You have developed your own style clearly here. It is well paced with nice images, as Ken noted. The ending is much better in this version. Well done
