When I Find Myself

Alone yet refusing to be alone.
What love has been everything it was supposed to be?
I linger in my own world for a little longer.

The rain comes and goes.
There is a quiet only found in a downpour.
Tomorrow I will talk to people.

I will be everything I'm supposed to be,
then come home exhausted
and spend the night listening to the rain.

It's a nice sigh....I really like that last stanza
