this is the blast of
the ridge line where it all began

it hasn't stopped singing bright and beautiful
like the way i used to make you feel
a puppy a cow you stopped to see both

i couldn't see the moment
it had built itself from talk
intricately woven

each fiber like nerves sent out to
find what made them
there's the catastrophe and the redemption

live on nothing can stop the
way i feel and don't feel good practice
bad execution

a hand reaches inside my hand
knows what it's looking for
held it so long ago it seems

can't name it lost then forever
can i still believe
that's what i miss the most

One is enthralled, wildly excited when one both hears a voice that is unique and one that knows how to hit all the notes... the seesaw of contrasting images and emotions lifts and falls beautifully... I am in agreement with Ken...a fabulous read
