Man listens to the arguments
God does not care about the fate
of the innocents. That He is impartial
to the evil done under the sun.
Man found it hard to see children cut
off from the land of the living
to hear the wail of despair
from the mothers
the cry for revenge
from the fathers
They prayed for mercy
they called on God to avenge.
But what should He do
Was He now to murder the children
of those who had afflicted
Their cry increased
There is no God
He doesn't hear us
he doesn't avenge.
But it was not God who raped
young girls, killed
pregnant mothers to-be
scattered toddlers brains
upon the rocks
It was man
Man with a grievance
They choose that path
Now the enemy closes in
They sow malice
destroyed
Not believing in divine justice
They have said in their hearts
there is no God
They pray every day
hoping God will turn
a blind eye to their folly.
It is madness to blame God
He doesn't wink at evil
In their affliction
they curse themselves.
They will die with curses
on their lips
None will help them
Unless they turn.

Re: Bipolar
You do a good job...it's a difficult subject, and one cast in the form I guess of a sermon. The poem's rhythm carries us along and doesn't stall in pontification. I think its the rhythm that i enjoy most...
My only nit...the tense changes from past to tense in these lines...I would change them to past tense, killed toddlers/bashed in their skulls
kill toddlers
bash in their sculls
