"Bob Dylan wins 2016 Nobel Prize in literature"

Approaching 60, I find this wonderful: I have lived to see a pop/rock lyricist receive the Nobel Prize in literature.

"for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."

^^ I'm hearing the legendary poet Ezra Pound: "Make it new."

Congrats, Mr. Dylan

And just last month, Bruce Springsteen launched his memoir Born to Run. And, it is being well-received.

To paraphrase one from PEOPLE:

"like sitting around the campfire listening to Bruce tell stories from the glory days."

^^ I believe that is true to the democratic voice & vision of the young man who wrote & performs the song "Born to Run."

not an unsung hero

each & every one of us
