Congratulations! Whilst you have not won one of the top thirteen prizes in the Bridport Prize competition, I am writing to let you know that your poem:

was shortlisted. We had over 5,400 poetry entries this year, and 200 were shortlisted.

Siva reached the top 3.7%

at worst 3.7%
if she came 4th then 7/100 of one percent

so between 7/100 x 1% and 3.7% depending on her actual placing.

Thanks.This is the poem I removed before you could critique it.Thank you. There s no need for so much Math.That my poem found a place has given me confidence in my writing.But not in my poetry.I need all your help to bring out a perfect poem.

25% would mean you came somewhere in the last 1350.

Your poem was placed much better than that, between a fraction of one percent and almost 4 percent.
