Judges
Judge me today
Judge me from yesterday
Till tomorrow if I fall away
From your ever fading grace
Say it all
Speak in codes
Unfailing words that destroy
But
I’m not here to stay
I reside on the part of life
Far from this place
I call it home
And I make it my own
Safe
Far from this hate
Because
I know there is a clean slate
Somewhere out there
A new page for each day
A new word to say
I am not the same
But I can change
So I will close my eyes and pray
Take me away
To the other side
To a better time
Because
I am on my own
But I see home
And it feels so close
Oh lord please wait
Because
I am on my way
Maybe I can find a new life
With a new name
Written on a pillar of better days
Somewhere out there
Anywhere but this place.

Hi Smmrtmestos,
why look for a new name and life
find the one the Creator created for you
Home is in the fold of the Father: "on earth as it is in Heaven."
He always leaves the fold to find every one.
Safe & Homefree
Emily Dickinson:
This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!
I never saw a moor,
I never saw the sea;
Yet know I how the heather looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given.
Peace
