Don't be silly. Ken and I are involved in a 30/30 sprint at another forum. It requires a lot of our time. It happens twice a year, in April and November. We'll be back soon...keep writing

I echo what Bob said,
nothing you've done has caused this hiatus.
We've all been busy.
I won't be back for a moth or so, things happening.
Don't worry Judy, all is well - keep writing. :)

'sokay. I'm not writing these days anyway, just revising. I suspect my writing days are long gone.

Good luck with the work, though

Hi Judy,
It's good to meet you. I've not been around either - busy! I hope to be back very soon, hoping to get my brain working again.

Like you I spend much time revising/rewriting, but do get a lot of satisfaction doing that. I sometimes feel my writing days are gone too, but then suddenly get inspiration from somewhere. I feel sure you will too and look forward to reading your work.

Nice to meet you, Elra.
I used to have a clockwork schedule, bizarre but accurate: 12 years off, 5 years on, where I would write like one possessed, on a daily basis. And when the writing slowed, I knew I was, like the cicada, going back 'underground" for 12 years. This last time, however, the writing basically stopped and has been almost non-existent for 6 years over the time normally allotted. I do get dribs and drabs, but nothing like that "omg where's the paper..." thing. I mourned it at first, but then I realized, as a friend reminded me, you can't push a rope. Now and then something surfaces, but only minimally.
We'll see. I enjoy pulling other people's work to bits, hopefully in a gentle "this hurts me more than it hurts you" fashion, so Im not entirely out of the loop. But at my age, there's not a lot of loop left.
