For some
it's almost impossible to access one's account
Double access verification complicates
the process. Often the 4-digit pass key fails to allow
entrance. ‘We'll send you a code,’ a popup says
which doesn't always arrive
On the rare occasion it does
it invariably fails to work
If one subverts the process
to actually pass muster, a Bot informs
via another popup the account is frozen
for 30 days. Passwords cannot be changed.

For some
Smashing the computer into bits
doesn't work nor using the foulest
of bad language

Complaining to one’s wife
Doesn't work
Her retort hurts,
'You've got dementia,
how can you possibly remember all that.'

How indeed
We can't complain to an Ombudsman.
Which is foreign to American corporations

Bots know this of course
They can get in, they know how
All pals together
I am convinced
they snigger over the NIC’s
at the futility of our puny efforts
They wait, as only Bots can wait
With reiterative pleasure.

For the time when we will ask
if they would to kindly take over.

I can relate, technology’s purpose is to make you feel stupid.
I had to glean through my notebooks to find my name and password
just to be able to post here again.
