Poetry & Poets in Rags of August 7

#1 Post by rus bowden » 08 Aug 2012, 00:50

Dear Poetry Aficionados,

Poetry & Poets in Rags blog

Last week we led off with Olympic-themed poetry articles, and this week we do the same, our first being the poems that Kwame Dawes is writing as he watches the games. Priscila Uppal is doing the same in Canada for our second item. The theme then turns to poetry that is not on the page, but on rocks, and in transit.

After these stories, comes the entire second half of our News at Eleven section, the dozens of poems and articles from our Great Regulars section, but only one Poetic Obituary. Shehzad Ahmed's death is all that showed in my News Google searching all week.

Thanks for clicking in.

Yours,
Rus
