New York Pitch Conference Reviews, Algonkian Writer Conferences, and Poetry Forums

There are hundreds of members of this forum,
if you look at the numbers of reads of poems
some are read by over a thousand people,
it is truly amazing.

But at this time there are just a half dozen or so
active poets, Bernie, Bob, Ken, Myself, Meena
Michael and Siva.

I thank you all for your encouragement over the past
few years, especially recently, the forum is alive and
working well with a very good spirit.

That good-spirit is essential to writing good poems
which are then honed in this forums, so again
to all my fellow poets a big well-done and much
appreciation from me.

Long may it continue.

Half a dozen working poets is about the norm these days for a poetry forum. I think the Block is probably the
most read forum.

People like seeing a poem develop.We may never hear from them, but I appreciate them as much as I do us.

Enjoyed reading these notes. I was especially intrigued

Due to recent efforts to gauge the participation in IBPC poetry forums
I'm inclined to agree with this assertion based on my cursory observations.

Thanks you for the input Doug, I notice you have joined three forums lately
and have made a few remarks about this topic, i.e. numbers posting on the
boards/forums. I hope you find this a good place to stay and post your work.
