Bull and the Chinaman

#1 Post by Kenneth2816 » 25 Aug 2019, 14:34

Back from the war a Sergeant,
he was quick with his hands.
A lot of guys had scars to prove it.

She was intellectual, erudite,
read Camus and Nietzsche,
on the Homecoming Court.

Third date at the County Fair,
A man was hawking cast iron
cookware, bragging at how

it radiated heat." Look at that!"
If anyone can hold that pan
I'll give ya a free set."

Caught between paydays,
mad with love, he reached
without flinching. There was

the faint smell of burnt bacon,
and just like that, she broke him
into a thousand beautiful shards.

Know, love is blind but now understand it is heat resistant too.
Good work, Ken.
